Courtney grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and studied Nursing and Spanish at the University of Oklahoma, where her passion for writing first began to bloom. After marrying her middle school sweetheart, she spent a few years working as a Labor and Delivery and Postpartum Nurse before prayerfully deciding to leave the hospital setting behind and follow stronger passions the Lord was guiding her towards. She loves encouraging and uplifting women in Christ through the words He calls her to write, and her desire as part of the SPLENDEUR team is to share the Lord’s grace-filled love through scripture. Outside of writing, Courtney is working as a Wedding Coordinator, as well as creating a style blog with her best friend for other women in their twenties. You can often find her with an oat milk latte in hand, and she loves chasing around both her pug and rescue pup, Ernie and Margot.
